DINING AT YOURS BY ALAN IRWIN
"beautiful Michelin restaurant dishes created in your home for you and your guests"
If your lunch or dinner party is for 16 or less we can provide Michelin standard, restaurant style catering in the comfort of your own home. We take all the stress out of entertaining, providing cutlery & crockery, laying the table and leaving the kitchen spotlessly clean and tidy as though we’ve never even been there!

NOT ANOTHER CHEF FROM SCOTLAND
Having completed his NVQ levels 1 & 2 and advanced food hygiene at catering college in Glasgow, Alan came down to London to seek his fortune and a career as a top Head Chef.

A FIRST CLASS EDUCATION
One of Alan’s first placements was at one of Kent’s top restaurants, Chapter One in Bromley working under Michelin star chef Andy McLeish. Alan learned a huge amount over his nine years here.

HEAD CHEF
Alan was approached to become the Head Chef at the Mulberry Tree restaurant in Boughton Monchelsea. Transferring all his experience, skills and knowledge, Alan massively elevated this kitchen and even picked up some awards along the way!

HOW DAY WORKS
Step 1: Contact
Contact Alan to arrange the dining at yours experience confirming where, when, what time and for how many people? We typically cater for tables of 2-16 guests but larger functions can also be considered.
Step 2: Menu
Choose what you and your guests want to eat from Alan’s menu on this website which is updated monthly depending on supply and seasons for the fresh produce. Please ensure Alan has your menu choices seven days before the meal. If you have any allergies or special dietary requirements please let us know in advance.
Step 3: Arrival
Alan will typically turn up at your home 2-3 hours before you are due to be served. All Alan needs to borrow is a few pots and pans as he brings glass wear, plates, cutlery. He will also set your table in the room of your choice and can also serve you drinks. In fact the only thing you need to supply are napkins to help keep high levels of hygiene.
Step 4: Experience
While Alan is preparing your food in your kitchen he is always happy to talk you through what he is doing and share useful tips with you and your guests. Alternatively if you want a more intimate experience you won’t see much of Alan until he serves the first course. Alan can provide excellence wines to match your food and bring them along with him.
Step 5: Tidy
Once all of the courses are served to you Alan will pack away, clear the table leaving your kitchen and table like nothing happened and spotlessly clean.
Thank you
Alan leaves and hopes that you have enjoyed the experience so much that it won’t be the last time you see him.
